Does anyone have any experience with reporting copyright violation to Shutterstock? Another contributor made a vector image of one of my most popular illustrations, it was obviously copied or traced, and I want the image removed. I looked up the procedure for reporting copyright violation to Shutterstock and found this: https://www.shutterstock.com/terms/dmca-notice. It looks like a pretty long and intensive process. I don't want to sue the person, I just want the copied image removed. Does anyone know if there is a simpler way of doing that? I would like to just provide the image ID's and the contributor's name, and links to the offending image and my image, but that's not enough, according to what I read. I'm tempted to just say to hell with it and let the person get away with it. Any thoughts?

Send the dmca, why should you have sales taken away from what is rightly yours?

Do it your way if it's a black and white case they will take it down, they have for me in the past.  If there are grey areas you will need to send the DMCA notice, which if you save it as a template it's sure to save you a lot of time in the future.
