Title: ROFL... Funny rejection on SS..
Post by: chellyar on November 02, 2006, 05:04
Just had to share this, after all the threads on rejections..

I submitted four photos to SS a couple of days ago.  Two of which were rejected....

I keep a spreadsheet of all my image names, and where they are uploaded to, with captions, keywords etc.  I just went to update it, and went to the image status page on SS.

The two rejected images  are sitting one above the other on the screen:

The first one has the reason: "Not Approved: Over use of noise reduction software"

The other has: "Not Approved: Noise, film grain, artifacts, or pixilation at 100%. Try noise reduction software"

 ;D  I'm sooo confused...

never try to understand the inner working of the reviewers mind

many have tried
many have failed

obviously didn't like the image but they never seem to say that

assuming that wasn't sarcastic or that you didn't get the 'joke'...

she was saying that one image they complained about TOO MUCH noise reduction use and then the next image they say, this image is too grainy please use MORE noise reduction.

I'm still waiting for the punch line.

Do lawyers have a sense of humor?

 ;)

Somewhat sarcastic, somewhat serious. I knew what she was saying, yet I don't see the joke. The posting didn't say that two photos were both edited in the same fashion, that they were of the same photo, etc. For all we know the one image WAS over processed, and the other DID contain noise.

To GeoPappas:
Who do you think comes up with all the lawyer jokes?

Sorry, should have said.....   Neither photo was edited, both shot on a 20D at ISO 100 in good light..

I just thought it looked funny on screen...
