Doesn't the map just show the location of the IP address of the purchaser? So if a customer signs in via a VPN, the location could show as Moscow, but the real location could be anywhere in the world? I thought that had been established in the past, when people were getting pins on the map that were apparently in the middle of the sea.
Don't get me wrong, as I would also like an opt out of sales to Russia, but Shutterstock have given financial aid to Ukranian contributors and are not taking on new contributors or customers from Russia.
