Hi Folks,

For several months now I can't display my Image Gallery Stats in order of purchase. All I get is a message telling me "None of your photos have been downloaded from a 25-A-Day subscription". But that is obviously not the topic here.

I have contacted support twice over the time (last contact 7th August). Twice I received the answer: "This is a known bug to us. We are working on it to solve it." Nothing happened, yet.

I wonder if it is really a general problem and more members have the same issue or am I the only one and SS doesn't bother to fix it. I couldn't find any discussion about it here at MSG, though.

The Image Gallery Stats are not essential but a nice feature, especially to see the trends in sales.

Regards,
Rob

I noticed it was broken a couple of weeks ago, and so no, it's not just you :)

Perhaps everyone there has been on vacation for the month of August?

are you talking about Image Gallery Views? (it seems to be working here)

No.

from submit.shutterstock.com go to Insights/Image Gallery Stats (Beta) and you'll get a list of your images, most recently uploaded first. Click on total purchases and you'll see the message noted above.

This, and Keyword Stats, have been "beta" for many months and various bits of image stats have often been offline for weeks or months at a time.

This clearly isn't a priority for SS (if it once was, I'm guessing going public has put an end to spending money on this sort of thing for contributors)

A very useful tool. I had asked about it in SS Forum but was ignored.
Too Bad.

In June there were submitters complaining about incorrect sort order results when sorted by Total Purchases.  I noticed this soon after my best selling images disappeared from first page searches.  When looking at the sort results, it looked like some of our most popular images had somehow been demoted as they showed up in the sort below images with less downloads.

In July SS disabled the Total Purchases sort on the Image Gallery Stats page.

Same here, many months. It's the column marked Total Purchases just to be clear.

Correct, and that's what it says, but that's not what we are looking for. Also correct, shortly after it was live, we lost the feature to search by Total Earned as well.

Maybe not the ultimate answer buy if you got to Earnings and the second column, you can see 25 a day by downloads?

http://submit.shutterstock.com/stats_media.mhtml?display_column=25_a_day

And if you make some sets, you can see downloads and income for groups of images. I have one that's fun, it's "My Favorite Non-Sellers"  :) A bunch of zero download images that I like to check now and then to see if someone actually bought one? But you can make catalogs of images or make a one image catalog (yes I know a long way to go to look at the stats for a single image) and see how they are doing.

I have made sets for various shoots and subjects, and I can go look and see how much that project earned and how many DLs it got. Which could tell someone, what to add more of and what's a waste of time?

But mostly, No Roboz, you aren't alone we all have the same page with no sorts and no choices and the same error message that isn't what we clicked on.
