Probably while trying to fix the uploading issues, some intern pulled the plug.

SS down in Israel / BS works fine

I'm a total junkie... can't check my stats.... panic.... thinking the worst...  Are they updating something?

Shutterstock has been purchased by Walmart and we plan to shake up the industry...

Ackkk even the buyers' site is down.

BigStock comes and goes. SS not so much

Hopefully they're fixing the bug that stopped them reporting my sales for the past day!

Both down here, though at least with Bigstock you get an error page.

SS just goes nowhere.

Because any good technology company knows that the best time to upgrade a system is the middle of the day in the middle of the week. I'm calling BS on BS. Somebody crashed their servers. Maybe the developers that have been screwing up at SS finally wrote some code bad enough to bring down the house.

My Tweet to them, "Not really buying 'scheduled maintenance' at 11am est on a Wednesday"

It's a bit of a disaster when the last site delivering consistent results goes offline. (I suppose that should be "consistently good" ... there are plenty of consistently bad ones).
