Just noticed this on SS forum:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YmerympWkCU

Good input from a true stock veteran. He might not be amongst the top sellers out there but he sure has the experience and a realistic view on the market.

I will be doing the same with my image portfolio, take what is left and then move out before Jan 2021. My video portfolio has already been disabled since Jun 1 2020 and will stay that way.

Take care!

Here's another video from a stock veteran uploaded on 7th July 2020 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kfZvtd_Uc-8 It has a similar historical reflection.

Since shutterstock implement the new earnings plan i am curious to see the report for Second Quarter 2020.
I am getting the feeling that financial wizards are putting their best cosmetic spells right now to delivery some business and financial results.

This will be announced on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 before the market opens.

i just removed all my footage from 2020 if things don't improve by next month rest will come down, or i slowly delete some each day until there not much left. i thought about deactivating but i guess there the risk they will copy the footage :/ ?

what is the point of deleting your content on ss and at the same time submit to istock where they pay you less than ss?? just curious...

The point is, one has to start somewhere. Today, its SS. Focus.

Well, if everyone had done so years ago when Istock screwed us, there would be no need to focus on SS now...

IS's RPD was close to SS's. But with the new earning structure, IME, June's APD on SS is now much lower than iS. And SS's July, at least up to now, is clearly worse than June.

yes but deleting content on ss and submit to istock which sell 4k footage at 40$ and give you 20% commision doesn't make sense to me..
