Title: Shutterstock approval que
Post by: CJPhoto on April 28, 2006, 10:24
Has anyone else notice that when you submit one lot of photos on (say) Monday, and a second lot on (say) Tuesday, they all get reviewed at the same time despite the fact they were submited 24 hours apart.

This seems weird as they aren't doing it in a ture first in first out basis.

well they sort of are doing it in a first come first serve basis.

Your first images submitted get you your 'place in line'. Then when it is your turn, all your images get reviewed.  I sort of like it that way actually.

In that case, if you wanted to jump the cue and you know you would be submitting a batch in the next couple of days, submit one photo to hold your place and if it isn't reviewed before you submit the rest, you have successfully cue jumped!

as long as you don't miss the boat when it leaves.

I have tried this a few times (especially with vectors), waited 4 days, and then had the images go through the review cue before i got the other uploaded
