Shutterstock deleted my account!

Talshiar:
My account deleted for now reason and I did not get any warning. Just discovered it was GONE! I've been with them since 2007 and have an ok sized portfolio of mostly vectors 600+. I've reached out to their customer support who keeps telling me that they're investigating the problem. It's been weeks now and they still haven't resolved this. Has this happened to anyone else? Any suggestions on how to resolve this?

Do you have some money there?

cathyslife:
Iím sure they have a reason for deleting it. Maybe not a legitimate reason, but in their minds it is. You should know by now what scumbags they are, so Iím not really surprised to hear it. Did you do anything to your account during the boycott? Deactivate your account, then reactivate? Frankly, I think all of the microstock sites are looking for reasons to dump a lot of contributors. Culling the herd.

Talshiar:
No, didn't touch it as I've been too busy with work. In fact I didn't notice right away...was looking through PayPal and noticed no $$ for the previous month. I wondered if it was a culling as I hadn't uploaded anything new in a while. It was still making them money every month so seems dumb to delete the account.
