Title: Shutterstock Forum - Working for you?
Post by: THP Creative on January 12, 2012, 01:00
I posted a bug report with shutterstock last week concerning how the discussion forum link using Firefox (8 or 9) didn't work, but rather brought up a download box wanting to download a PHP file.  A couple of other people noticed the same and added to my thread, and the SS forumguru replied it had been acknowledged and we would be informed soon.

Then I got sent an email last night telling me another post had been added, but when I go to look at it today, it said it's gone.  Now I can't even access the forum using Safari!

Is anyone else having issues accessing the SS forum?

I've been accessing it fine for the past 12 hours using Firefox 8.

I've been with SS since 2005, and over the years I've noticed that for whatever reason, this bug seems to randomly happen once in a while...and then it goes away.  One way to get around it (sometimes) is to Google the forum and enter through the link.  Bookmarking the forum also works (sometimes).

Wow you're right, Googling it did work!  thanks for that.  Strange the bug has been around for so long.  I haven't noticed it before in the last 2 years, but then again I dont go to the forum much.

Thanks Karimala :)

You're welcome.  :)  I think it's more of a Firefox issue than a SS issue.  Seems to happen around the time Firefox makes an upgrade.
