A week ago my account had been suspended. I've sent many emails to shutterstock about that but they responded about that issue today writing this email to me:

After careful review of activity within your account, we have determined that your contributor account is linked to suspicious activity across our platform. Your contributor account will not be re-activated.

Paragraph 4 of the Submitter Terms & Conditions gives Shutterstock the right to terminate any existing account " . . . for fraud, intellectual property infringement, violation of a third party's rights including those of privacy or publicity, artificially inflating downloads, submission of material that is obscene in nature, violent or that might be construed as defamatory, failure to comply with Shutterstock's guidelines as may be amended from time to time, or for any breach of the terms of this or any other agreement that you have with Shutterstock.

Guys, do you know what does it mean "suspicious activity across our platform" ?

Did you purchase your own images, did you open one or more account, do you and a friend share an account, do you share a paypal account, credit card fraud (maybe not even your fault?) stuff like that. You might do a search here, lots of these types of posts. Might give you an idea of things that might cause an account suspension. They typically do not suspend for no reason, but they can make a mistake, just like everyone can. Read through their terms and see if you have violated anything there. Or maybe they can be more specific. Others will probably give you more ideas about what might cause a suspension.

I believe I did wrongly none of the things you mentioned above. Only I have doubts about I'm working from public workspace. There are other contributors who work there. Maybe they looked to the IPs and blocked me as using multiple shutterstock accounts ?

Turn it into a positive thing instead!  youre out of it! out of having constantly to produce and feed the beast with images that hardly ever see the light of day!!...out and away from the frustration of building a portfolio only to have it destroyed by the next search-change and all your work was in vain! :D

How do you know other shutterstock contributors use the same public computer? If I used a public computer Id have no idea who else was using it.

Okay, there is this post in your search history:

"I've a company, my employees are designers and want to register as business account on Shutterstock.
Now question is does Shutterstock require some contract or agreement between owner and employees ?
Or should I create contract considering Shutterstock's contributor rules ?

Already researched internet and below resource is all I've found
https://www.shutterstock.com/contributorsupport/articles/kbat02/000006556"

You haven't mentioned this set up in all the posts about your account suspension. What exactly is the set up with these multiple contributors who work for you. Are these the "friends" that were suspended the same time as you that you mentioned?

You are running this business from a public computer? Do your employees take it in turns using the workstation in the coffee shop or wherever?

That post is not about me, I asked that question for a friend. That's why i haven't mentioned it in the post.

Only thing you can do, register with someone else ID or Passport, do not upload the same content again  ::)

If you are absolutely sure you did no wrong then all you can do is email shutterstock.

Otherwise learn from this and move on.

Yeah, I will write email to shutterstock asking more detailed reason why they terminated my account. I'm sure I haven't do anything against terms.

No I think it would be better if you emailed SS with a detailed reason of what you and your colleagues were doing.

Turn it into a positive thing instead!  youre out of it! out of having constantly to produce and feed the beast with images that hardly ever see the light of day!!...out and away from the frustration of building a portfolio only to have it destroyed by the next search-change and all your work was in vain! :D

Then why do you dwell in so much negativity and why don't you do the same positive thing, by removing your port from all microstock agencies?

I can bet you will be a much happier fellow, knowing yourself shielded from all those search changes.

I love how these type of things turn out in the end. It's not about me but my friend or I didn't think I was doing anything wrong. Not my fault that I, or my friend, didn't follow the written rules on the company site  :-\

"Me too."
Maybe we need a women's only section of this forum. Guys seriously this is insulting to all of us.
One of the rare times I would have given a red minus if it was still available.

Clearly shutterstock thinks you have or they wouldnt have suspended your account. Ask them for specifics of what you did wrong.
