Should I create image/video sets? Is it going to increase my sales/visibility/ranking, or is it only good for "viewing my content’s performance and staying organized".
What's your experience? Do you have sets?

Don't have the time for that kind of thing. Better spent creating more work and getting it onto more sites. Microstock agencies take a big enough percentage that we shouldn't have to p*ss around with that cr*p. It would be different if it was a marketplace taking 10-15% or whatever.

I have image sets and they are useful for organisation purposes and to track sales but also I think they help buyers as when an image is looked at by a buyer the set it is in is then shown to them.

totally agree. Better to submit more work to other agencies.

I do use them, for tracking which collections sell best, but also once a customer is viewing your content on the detail page, the set will appear under the selected picture. I actually often have two or more downloads from the same customer - as my content is mostly travel/destination.
So if you have an extra oppurtunity to let the costumers browse through your content instead of other contributors, when they like your style, why not?
I started with it right from the beginning and drop new approved files immediately in the set, then it's just a routine of seconds, once set up.
