Post by: jonbull on February 01, 2018, 07:42
till the 17th of january superb months then totally sh....t. and even 1 february is the same.
i earned 20% of january from 17th. 80% in the first 17 days. after 17th practically every day i had sales till 13 p.m then completely dead.
then if you say there is a cap people get nervous.). cap is there and makes me think if is worth to keep uploading and creating.
luckily fotolia is keeping up. and macro also not bad.

BME for me
I'm not a big seller, this is my fourth year.

Good mix of old and new images + some clips

In January I also reach third level party and after reaching it there was many good sales.

If there is a cap I'm still out of the list 😁

So everything panned out just as you expected then.

My downloads were the lowest January since 2012, but my best ever January for revenue, 40% up on last year.

It all depends on how long youve been with SS and what you are used to earn!  lets say youre used to getting $2000 month and then all of a sudden the cap comes on and youre down to $1000,  then its CRAP!!  but still good for the average supplier.

howeve beat this for a cap if you can. last week from Monday to Friday the days differed by cents!! incredible and so obvious!

well when something is so predictable as ss there must be a control no matter what.

every time i had a big sale 3 4 days without any good sale...every time...i mean 100%...evey time i manage to do a big first 15 of month the second part is crap an contrary....

in the first 15 i sold mostly new files...no since 17 only those who have good position in their search class.
other agency are growing and they are not predictable. in as i can have 2 days in a row with zero and one with 15, but i cannot predict.

by the way in absolute terms has been a very good january with strong growth, but what surprises me is the sudden death of sale after 17. if i would have repeated the first 15 days i would have surpassed the 4 digiti with 250% growth compared to january last year.  so i should be happy, but really the last two weeks make me think hard that despite the hard work i can't really grow as i want.

An average month in terms of sales, but this week has been a disaster.
