I have been with SS a while and have earned a few hundred, but it is just accumulating in my SS account and never gets paid out to me. I have my payout settings set to pay at $50. I have everything set up correctly, but I never get a payout for SS. What is going on?

Contact them directly and ask. They have been paying me regularly.

Never had any problems with payouts. Hope you get it resolved

Contact them, they always pay

Maybe you dont fill the tax form, or your payment method is not properly configured.

I know that my payment settings are correct. I have contacted them, but the answers have been generic, like yours, not specific. You know, "Form Answers" that they send out to everyone. My question is, if there was a problem, should they not have sent me an email about it? I have been a contributor for over a year.

The only thing I can find that might be the problem is my tax form. My name on my tax form only has my first and last name, not my full legal name. This is because when I signed up for SS, I only used my first and last name to create my SS account. SS uses the account name as the name on the TAX form and will not allow me to alter or change it in any way. I tried submitting a new tax form, but SS autofills it with the name on my SS account and will not let me add my middle name to it. So there is nothing I can do.

As you suggested maybe the tax form, but something not as tricky as full legal name. Is it up to date? You might need to review if it's been three years since last time you verified. Name and address the same?

This months payment to me, no problems, has arrived PayPal as expected.

No they don't send out warnings or notifications, this seems to be a pretty usual problem for many people. Unless it's something else.

Some of these messages had me confused. Did I get the notice or the money?

I just checked, paid April 6th PayPal.

This month's payout is later than usual, but they sent an e-mail on April 3rd saying they would pay by the 15th. If you are not receiving those messages then it must be the tax form as others have suggested - otherwise they are very reliable.

BTW, on the Tax Center page, mine has a statement at the upper left saying, "Form W-9 approved on 7/20/09". If you don't have something like that then that should confirm the tax form as the problem.

Shutterstock paid me on April 6th - not sure how many days payments typically take, but I'd assume by now everyone would have received theirs?

That's weird. Usually I get mine by the 7th, but so far nothing. Their message promises to send it by the 15th, so I am expecting a message from Paypal tomorrow. I must have got on their bad side somehow.
