THe number of images increased by 61% Eye watering! With paid downloads up 21% So I reckon you probably need to increase portfolio by 40% in to stand still if you an "average" contributor. Lets hope its true that a lot of the new uploads are rubbish. "his past quarter alone, our 130,000 plus contributors added over 11 million high-quality images to our royalty-free library even as we maintain a stringent review process for every single image submitted." Really?

For serious contributors, large or specialized portfolios this is the end.

It's just not a sustainable business model for contributors... I'm still uploading a couple images every week, but my focus and energy are in other areas that are much more interesting financially speaking.

Now, with a 60% increase of images online, the question is how long this game is sustainable for profit orientated image factories.

Stopped being sustainable last year and this is living proof that they can do and manage very well with just quantity and less quality and without any disrespect to Tror but I dont think todays buyers in general are as quality conscious as yesterdays. They seem only too happy with a sub here and there and avoiding the more expensive macro agencies. Given that fact and SS nursing new people and lower royalty members. Well then in future it will be hard to find quality for 0-25c-0.38c. :)

I think pretty similar this pattern has been consistent for a while despite the anecdotal evidence on here.
