According to your experiences, what is the minimum amount mostly all microstockers(mainly vectors) are making and with how many images online approximately? I know it differs for everyone, but i only want a broad idea.

Impossible to answer because the quality is so important. With 100 high quality vectors you'll make more than with 1000 crappy ones. Focus on quality and getting to the 1st page of your niche more than in the size of your portfolio.

An answer is almost impossible. But one or two years ago I read here, that ca. 400 pictures in the portfolio should be give an avarage of approximately 100 downloads per month. The amount of the payment, of course, depends on the status of the contributor.

Yes, I have around 400 images on SS (photographs though), and get around 100 downloads/month. Not sure that's particularly helpful though!

Funny thing is that I got more images online but my sales have decreased. Earnings however stayed the same!

That happens too, there are many names for it, but what it really is in the economics world is Point of Diminishing Returns. (or the wall?  )  Growth is not endless and what occurs is lower incremental per-unit returns. However this shouldn't mean lower overall returns.

I think that part, where people work harder and add more files and stay the same or lose, is also affected by competition. We have a collection of 46 million competing images now, which grows at a high rate daily. Unless someone is providing something new and different or supplies a specific niche of the market, the competition will erode income, just because of sheer volume that dilutes our returns. (aka smaller piece of the pie)

In what you wrote, you are earning more per DL but getting less DLs so thus staying at the same level of income, for less sales. Personally I haven't hit that point yet, and my income is still growing. Maybe next year, but I'm not looking forward to that.

Spot on roede. Somewhere in that range depending on what someone has for variety and in their collection, but 400-500 images will get 100 DLs a month. ON AVERAGE. I'll conclude nothing about the earnings for that because of so many license types and such a large range of skills and content.
