I just completed a very short survey on shutterstock's home page about submitting pngs. If you make png files, you might want to complete it.

It looks like shutterstock is considering adding png files to what they accept.

They are actually asking for our feedback. It took under a minute - just three or four multiple choice questions. I am so disappointed in ss generally but took the time to fill it out, since it would be nice to have another outlet for pngs besides Adobe Stock.

it would be very nice,but the problem is that then I will also have to see my png go away for 0.10c

if they want png first they have to improve or restore the royalty structure.

png 0.10c?thanks...but NO thank you!

I used to provide feedback for example on their new "improved" contributor interfaces. They never seemed to listen - or at least the interfaces kept getting worse.

I don't know what it's like in the USA.
In Europe, for example, companies are obliged to carry out regular surveys in order to meet certain quality criteria. The result doesn't matter, the main thing is that you've done it.

I also don't understand the point. Adobe just did it.

But the fact is that Shutterstock doesn't give a * about our opinion.

I also believe that shutterstock doesn't care about our personal opinion.

But I think that shutterstock is wondering whether the approval of pngs will bring in a lot of money for the competing agencies. And whether customers might migrate to the agencies that offer pngs. This may be an attempt to get an idea. And possibly get a slice of the pie.

sure,plausible,but if they want a piece of cake they have to be willing to break a few eggs,but look like this people want to eat all the cakes without breaking an egg!

however,no,some of the png I make require several hours of work,I can't see them go away for 0.10 I just can't take it.
