I received a Shutterstock survey in my email and just completed same. It seems to be requesting input for improving customer relations, especially contributors. What a novel idea ... listening. ;D
I'm very new at Shutterstock but each day there I become more and more infatuated with the site. I'm still kicking myself for taking so long to jump on their bandwagon. I'm a new CHEERLEADER. ::)
Have others completed the survey? Any thoughts?

A good deal of the questions seemed to be focused on exploring new revenue options for SS by way of potential business collaborations for software, keyword services, hardware etc.
From a contributor and buyers perspective I would have like to see questions that focused more on our image needs, such as upgrading the site, providing better customer service, legal support, reducing forum spam, etc.

I got the survey too. I haven't looked at it yet. Piracy should be their biggest concern. I hate to say it because I like the quick reviews, but they need to spend more time on their review process.

I just completed the survey, and I wonder if different contributors received different surveys? Mine seemed to be primarily focused on video.

I got the survey and took it. Mine had a couple of video questions, but like mentioned earlier, seemed to be looking for other services they might provide to increase revenue.

well, the whole survey was sponsored by b&h photos...i think they are starting to value contributors as future cash cows, flush with all that microstock income. i just parted with a few grand on a new camera, so they caught me kind of late for all these photographic services.
but they do seem interested to see if photogs are interested in doing more video, etc. again, this all point to new equipment sales...

I completed this survey a few weeks ago. I was glad to give my opinion as I am fairly new to the site.
