Not only the contributor site but also Shutterstock.com is not available.
The connection times out - "The server at www.shutterstock.com (http://www.shutterstock.com) is taking too long to respond."
I am currently in North Africa and the site has been down for about 10 hours now.
I am able to connect using a VPN through New York.

That must explain dreadful earnings on SS yesterday. Without knowing this, it looked like they had pulled my portfolio...
Was SS down anywhere else in the world..?

No problems with access in Poland, but sales are dead.

I had trouble uploading new files here in New York using Firefox this afternoon but found a solution. I tried to upload the same 2 files four times - then I switched to Google Chrome and they uploaded just fine. I could access the site from both browsers, but uploads timed out in Firefox.
Have you tried a different browser? Hope that works for you! 8)

DROGA ! the stench smells of IStock before they sold it.
Really, lower management have well been asleep at the wheel a long time ago,
(Rinderhart's thread as well as on Ss own forum, which also has 2 threads on this topic.
But who really cares,huh??? Lower mgtment, IT, Terminator Reviewers, etc their paychecks still get deposited. ho hum !

5-10 minute outage just now - had been uploading steadily over last few days and reviews have been very fast ( < 1 day) so someone's still active!

Don't know if this is new, but I just tried to look at my port sorted by new and get an error. I've sent a link to my port sorted by new to people so they can see my new stuff and now all they will get is. Maybe this helps explain the slump over the last week

That was effecting pretty much everyone all week, sometimes new and popular are the only ones and work, other times new, popular, undiscovered and relevant all appear but produce errors unless you select popular.
Yet more more bug in their fragile IT infrastructure.

Everythings fine and sales are best they've ever been and no, there is no Dead zones of the world that doesn't work and every submitter gets the same chances to sell. . And your Most Popular is your Most Popular...LOL Ya Right. My most popular is filled with new Images that haven't sold. How can this help anyone and how long is this going to go on.? My question of the day and....My god, It's getting extremely tiring to be negative about the best site. But where else can I moan and grown, They certainly don't seem to care.
