I've looked at my earnings at approximately 1000 dls and 2000 dls this month and my take is like 30% less than before.
I've sold approx. 15% more images (DLs) than the previous month at this point.
And to make the situation even worse, this includes $30 to $70 range single and enhanced sales I got in June. Without them it would be even worse.
Shutterstock took the rest. At six days notice.

Mr. Oringer probably hired a dirty-agenda CEO because he didn't want to do this himself.
The top contributors at Shutterstock are all subscription sales optimized creators. They all are hurt by this change.

Shutterstock, you never had enough OD sales going to make up for our lost revenue to begin with.
Your OD packages are not attractive, because you don't want them to be. (because if OD becomes popular it will permanently hurt subscription sales)

If OD sales were so great, why in the world would you change it so we get more percentage on OD sales. That answers everything.

You're trying to make your contributors think they need to make one of a kind OD quality images to make money like before. In the end you're gonna sell it all for $0.10. Shady business that is.

So, I understand he feels like 2003 again.
Starting to see profits come in like if it was 2003 again.?

Indeed, and I regard it as a Badge of Honour.

Haha, he blocked me too. It's good to know that my post agitated him so much he had to block me out of frustration. Feels like a victory of sorts, albeit a small one.

It won't help with deleted tweets (such as the take your content & go one) but for those of us who are blocked, it's easy to see his tweets (can't interact with him though)

Go to twitter.com in a Google incognito window or log out of your own twitter account. You can then browse everything & take screenshots (or whatever).

He has also deleted his LinkedIn profile (yesterday I think). Can't imagine how he thinks this will play out.

One of the Glassdoor reviews of him called him a man-child. Another said "CEO shouldn't be allowed to lead a lemonade stand. A public company is so far beyond him it's frightening."

I'm really not at all au fait with Twitter, but it seems that several people have retweeted one of my tweets in reply to his original one after he blocked me.  8) (Presumably blocking someone doesn't delete their posts?) He's really on the back foot.
Man-child?
He's sounding more and more like the US president. ::)

With those replays  he is just showing that he is definitely loosing it and that the pressure we put is definitely worth it.

Oringer and Pavlovsky both.

Correct. If you want to see his tweets, log out of twitter in a web browser (or bring up a Chrome Incognito window so you don't have to do that) and search for Jon Oringer. You can't interact with him, but can read.

An account can hide replies - typically done when people get R rated or swear or accuse them of crimes - but you can see those after the "warning" message.

If someone delete's a reply or tweet of their own, I think all the children of that thread go too

Funny. I left him a "GLOWING" review on Linkedin.

Wow, he deleted his LinkedIn account?  Chairman of a billion dollar company? He is really self destructing his reputation. Amazing Stan Pavlovsky effect. Disruptive indeed.(yes, I saw the youtube clip)

No, it's still there, but you can't see it if you're logged in.

In a Chrome incognito window you can view his page just fine.

I didn't realize all the privacy settings LinkedIn offered. He could turn off access to the non-logged-in world, but that would render the whole thing a bit pointless :)

Same applies to his twitter account by the way (if you're blocked by him, as I am)

Thanks. I got the situation.  They've probably become experts on the privacy setting by now..  ;D

Other people mentioned him deleting his portfolio on LinkedIn too, so there's some set of those he doesn't want to see him. A bit like the toddler with hands over eyes thinking the world has disappeared just because they can't see it :)

Funny how he started off trying to deflect the cuts and now he just gave up. Facts simply do not support his garbage claim...insinuating that they added a higher tier. Very few will make that and then there is the annual reset. He truly is a disgusting person. I say that because now we know he supports Stan's move.

Nobody will believe his lies, the numbers don't lie. I'm down over 50% first month, his math is a lie.
