Anyone else seeing some problem at SS today?
My sales are unusually slow, and the number of Active Images has dropped, with most recent additions disappearing from the 'Content Overview' panel.
I'm wondering if anyone else is having the same problem, and also if any buyers on MSG have had trouble finding or buying images today?

sales are ok but yep problems on newest once more.. seem to be usual now at SS..
-
Thanks Luis - presumably buyers are not having problems then. I guess they just hate my images today. :'(
-
I have images that were accepted on Sunday (and have sold) that disappeared, then reappeared, and now are gone again.
-
Sales are about average at SS today for me, but I have noticed a lot of older files selling and very few new ones.
-
Problems for me also...
For almost 2 whole days it was like the good old days - sales were good, old and new stuff - just like it used to be.
But now - again - new batches have disappeared and sales returned to a trickle...
It's just SO frustrating!
-
...and the problem with keywords is back again. It was fixed for two days. New images cannot be found with all the keywords, yesterday it was ok. I'm tired of it. Many of images from last - now - four weeks are buried forever as nobody was able to find them when they were new... and it is back.

I only have a small portfolo 200 odd images so difficult to spot trrends but today has been my most succesful day revenue wise with 2 OD downloads and a handfu of subs.

I had this problem with a couple of images last week and the disapeared and reapeared seemingly at random, although they seemed to continue selling and it has settled down in the last few days.

I've got my newly uploaded landscapes and nature shots selling extremely well, in just about an hour since being approved. Then it stopped, then it started selling old files and now I see one of my latest batches missing from my portfolio. What's going on? ???

Strange is that only a few people here have complained about this issue. It's few weeks when these problems started. And in my case they are very well visible in "Earnings from New Content" graph.

I hadn't been following this issue. Guess that explains why my new content is not getting any downloads. :(

I think that is only part of it, Lisa. I seem to remember something about a search engine change; or maybe more so about the new key word relevancy option. Some discussion about new files never becoming relevant because they can't get downloaded AND if they never get downloaded; they never get relevant.
Catch 22?
:P

'Relevant' search seems to be a real Catch 22 situation. Made worse, though, now that new pics don't even appear under 'new' search results for goodness sake! No hope there then, dead and buried before they show...
PLUS (while I'm feeling peeved!)
what is all this about SAFE SEARCH? The button is fairly hidden, it's true, but that's not my gripe. I guess that if you don't want your kids to see 'dodgy' pics, then this is reasonable...
My problem is that it is blocking ALL SORTS OF STUFF! From a basket of fruit to a (relatively harmless) scorpion.
Now, I guess some people may be phobic about the scorpion so the 'safe search' option may be protecting them (but I doubt it!) - but a bowl of fruit??? Come on....!
Sigh....
-
Fortunately - all these disappearing images and "nonsearchableness" with keywords - it's not a feature it's a bug.

that goes along with SS ban of the word 'colored' as a keyword!
