It's happened to quite a few people.... possibly most. It came up here - https://www.microstockgroup.com/shutterstock-com/what-a-cool-ss-how-well-he-sells/msg586615/?topicseen#new when talking about large SS sales.

Accounting on the contributor reporting, hasn't caught up to the total display part of the software. I got much less than what I've seen others reporting and I'm over 85% Editorial. I'll take a shot in the dark? AI Contributor fund or something similar.

If it is the Contributor AI Fund it should appear on your earnings summary - remember you need to scroll all the way over to the right to see that column.

I had the same, about $24.

It's not the Contributor Fund, so maybe a delayed update of one or more sales?

Edit: turns out it was the Contributor Fund after all, it's now updated in the column.

Happened to me as well yesterday. At least for me it was the contributor fund.

Im opted out of data deals yet still got $58. Perhaps those are data deals that happened before the opt out date, which was a month ago.

Confirmed on their earnings page for me now. Contributor Fund.

I'm also opted out so I'd imagine this will (or should be) the last payment I'll receive. $180, $30 p/month which is a joke considering the amount of damage this will do.

got 120 USD, this means the SS AI is now or soon able to re-produce my 20k-portfolio ( ? )
and that means at the end i sold my portfolio for 120 USD to SS. looool, sad  :'(

*edit: Im opted out of data deals too

But under data protection laws they can only keep the data for so long before it has to be deleted, replaced. Hence why they pay us every 6 months and if we opt out, they cannot use our images to produce the replacement datasets.

Is it only me who didn't get nothing ?

There's a couple of people on the Facebook page who reported had got nothing. Then there is another who reported $300 so probably varies a lot across contributor portfolios.

I got about $40 yesterday for the AI fund.  SS's lead for the month won't last long.

I received $330 with a portfolio dominantly video. I thought it was a bug showing parts of last month's royalties as I've witnessed that in the past. Not known it to last over a day or 2 so who knows? I'll keep the $330 though if its in error :)

I also got money and am supposedly opted out.
I went to try to find the opt-out button but cannot find it.

Anybody know where they have hidden it?
It's not in my account settings and I think I have looked everywhere else.

Edit:

Never Mind Found it in Account settings and I am opted out and still got money.

I'm showing +$200 on May 2nd and had opted out of AI as soon as the option came available.

Not convinced this isn't a bug with some of the previous month's earnings not being reset.

No, I think shutterstock is a deceptive company, and the "opt-out button" doesn't really mean anything. They have proven to be dishonest time & time again, so...
They are probably selling your data regardless, because they really don't give a flying f____k about anyone except the executives being greedy...

Noticed that yesterday. I had 2 big video sales in the morning and in the evening one of them was gone from the details but the amount was still reflected in the day's and month's totals. Another day, another bug

I got paid the correct amount this morning for last month but May 2nd is still showing $200 over what the earnings say it should.

Definitely a bug.

Scroll to the right of your earnings summary and check if the extra $200 is reported in the Contributor Fund column.

Aha thats it.  Had completely forgotten their website was so terribly designed it cant even render correctly on standard monitors.

So thats $200 for something i opted out for as soon as it became possible.  (and from that figure, likely abused a large chunk of my images before then).

This is the icon shown in Microstockr for those earnings. I believe that it's generated by SS and made available through their API.

It also bothers me that I opted out back in February, and I still see my images being used to train my competitors, without my consent.

Yep. Maybe we are technically opting out of receiving any money, but not opting out of our assets being used to train AI...lol.  Seriously, that's probably what's happening.

Still around, not a lot to post about as everything is same-same.

SS RPD continues to plummet. AS earns more.  Occasionally scan through here if i see something odd on my earnings.
