With an increased limit of 50 megabytes for EPS files, its easier than ever to upload your vectors

Old limit was 15mb!!

This is so exciting as old limit really limited much the kind of work you was able to upload!!

It is and it isn't. Unless others follow suit we still have to keep file size down, it's not worth creating work specifically for one agency (even SS).

Sorry for being a little bit positive, (I know it's not really trendy around here) but I am really happy about this change. Sometimes it took me tens of minutes to optimize a file to fit under 15mb. Maybe I am the only one but I feel like the old 15mb was not fit for our times, I found it too limiting since the day it was introduced really.

Agree that it is a good move, but makes no difference to me yet, for the reason above.

Totally, i just remember some art works that i just was unable to reduce to goal size, spending whole day on it and finally discarding.

This is also amazing for time optimization so you can use fast methods to reach the effect you are looking for (fast methods that generate a bigger file) and finish more works in less time.

I'm so exited because of  this, i think i will not sleep this night!!

Haha, me too. I just finished a design and it is 24mb when saved in EPS and I can just leave it like that... what a relief.

P.S. I just realized you are being sarcastic... whatever

By the way is there a list somewhere with agencies who accept vectors and the file size limitations each one has?

Im not being sarcastic, i can finally open my old folder called "Discarded Due To Memory" and upload all the content i previously cannot upload due to size issues

I wish all sites would accept .ai files. Windows OS often cannot delete eps files and I'd prefer to not have to use them at all.
