Title: SS missed my payment
Post by: Phadrea on October 17, 2012, 02:26
I usually get paid every month by SS but this October I have had nothing (yes, I have the amount in my account over the pay threshold)

I have emailed support days ago but have heard nothing hence why I am posting here.

Is there a delay this month ?

I was paid on October, 5th and haven't heard about any delays. I use PayPal, do you use something else?

Paid on the 5th here too.  Were you definitely over the threshold on the last day of the month?

Generally They pay by 6 to 7 of the month.

I think they close the month some days before, 28th or 29th. But I'm not sure.

I've never seen an indication of that. I expect them to check balances based on midnight on the last day of the month NYC time. Why do it any other way?

Why, just to piss people off? But since it's SS and not someplace else, you'll find it's very reasonable. Officially according to ShutterStock:

Midnight New York time on the first of the month

Did that help?
