Guys, I'm starting to have a problem with my actual earnings on SS because of the withheld tax that's collecting in my account from month to month. Right now, I got $40,02 of tax withheld, and soon it will become very hard for me to follow how much I really earned, and when can I expect my payment. Right now, my gross earning are around $106, and one would expect payment. But my tax is around $40 for past months, and I don't have an idea how much is it for May.
Is there any solution for this problem, or my account will continue to collect tax until my tax withheld becomes bigger than my earnings? I can see the situation in the future when I have gross earnings (including tax) of $200, and $140 just tax. So, soon if I want to know when will I reach payment, I have to deduct tax for all past months from the gross earnings. I really don't want to do it every month.

They changed it yesterday I think!

Now, we have gross earnings equal to the earnings this month (if you had payout last month)...
It means that gross earning is without ex. monthly  taxes...

Check it in your stats if  MONTH TOTALS=Gross earnings...

There is topic about this on SS forum, but I can't find it anymore...

Thanks for the info borg. I'll check it from time to time. For now, there are no any changes in my account.

Maybe they are not over yet!

I had payout last month, and now my month total is equal to Gross...

I 'll try to find topic on SS...

Found it!
Problem with money left over from the other month

From support letter  on the 4th page of topic...

What changed, and why?
- Previously, the gross earnings on your Download Stats page reflected your
total earnings since your last payment, plus your previously withheld taxes.
Now we show only your total earnings since your last payment. We believe this
new figure is a more convenient way to keep track of your actual earnings.
