Title: The power of vectors - EL on vector, never on illustration
Post by: Semmick Photo on May 04, 2015, 10:06
I just sold this vector image with an EL licence on Shutterstock.

I have that image online since my start on Shutterstock, it was my 11th image online. It hardly ever sold, so I added text to the image saying "Your Text Here", it still didnt sell. I changed the background from white to soft yellow, still didnt sell. So I finally learned to create vectors and thought to give it one more go. It sold within a few weeks as EL.

The power of a vector version is apparent.

Yep. Vectors sell better than rasters.

Ron,

what software are you using for vectors?
