Title: Trigger happy customers - multiple sales of the same image

anyone else seeing this?

lately i have 3 4 5 sales of the same images in a very short time, almost instantaneously

some images which never sold, sold 3 times in a minute or less

could it be that there is a bug or a change in how buyers purchases images from shutterstock that allows for a multi purchase by mistake?

I had 4 or 5 instances in the last two weeks, where the same image was sold twice as a sub, at the same time from the same location. It just happened two days ago again.

First I thought someone is trying to avoid buying EL, but it happened to many times for that to be a reason.

right, 2 positive results is not a good data set to draw any conclusions from, but good to know i am not alone in this. ha!

I've had a couple of instances of that recently. Could it be large businesses with several people accessing the images separately?

Yeah at 30 cents a sale it really adds up fast, doesn't it...

if you get 30 cent per download then you need to email shutterstock, coz thats wrong

I've always wondered what's going on there because it happens to me every now and then. I also thought it might be someone avoiding an EL.

Yes this can be a reason.
I remember, previous year there was one of my file which was downloaded nearly 21 times in subscription.

is that not against their TOS? if you buy 2 subs, you basically have an EL, but I dont think thats how it should work
