I am having trouble after uploading images to SS via web (not ftp).  They upload, then when I go to press the next button, 0 images there.  It keeps happening and unable to get to keywording part so far.

Anyone else?

I have been having trouble with Shutterstock for the last 14 days.  How they are keeping their #1 status is a mystery to me.

Same here...I upload everything in triplicate and usually wind up with one image I can edit. If I get more I edit them all just in case. Some of my images kept disappearing after acceptance, too. I think they only pay attention to their stock price now.

I've got a different problem files sitting there not getting reviewed. When I asked support they told me to delete them cos they couldn't. For me fotolia/adobe  are snapping at their heels.

I have that problem with SS too.  File stuck and the cannot delete it so I have to reupload it.  My sales at FT much better.  I think my images fit more with FT's clientele overall.

With the original problem, the images get uploaded, then disappear..... and then hen I upload it several times and the next button takes me to actual image to keyword... I have multiple copies of the same images from all the repeat uploads.

My problem---For the last (14) days I have not been able to get into my Shutterstock account.  I was told to reset my password but the reset link never got to my e-mail for the last (14) days.  I have written support every day and it is not fixed.  I cannot access my account to see how many sales I had or if I should get a payout this October, 2016, plus I have over 6,000 slides from an assignment I want to upload.  Nothing is working for me with them.  Plus they had the nerve to send me a survey to fill out on how they were responding to my problems.  Guess what?   Zero!!  Am I being too harsh?

Also, with all these problems happening why is Shutterstock still holding the #1 position?

Its really the buyers that drive it.....I wonder if the site is causing them problems too...think Adobe are giving proper competition at last.

Yes its very confusing to know what they have or haven't reviewed and as far as I can see you can only delete one file at a time.

mostly because the majority of people aren't experiencing all these problems; and since SS outperforms others by factor of 3-10x or more  it would take awhile for SS to decline even it was happening -- everyone would need to have sales drop by 50% or more

my reviews have been fast lately - rarely more than 24 hr, and acceptance rate is better

I've also seen the 'upl but 0 files problem' in the past week - based on the forums, SS is aware of it, but a temp fix that's worked for me is
http://submit.shutterstock.com/content_editor.mhtml

which brings up the ftp'd images for editing - these then are reviewed and show up in my 'new' gallery
