Anyone able to upload to shutter right now?
-
yep, but its buggy like it has been lately.
Uploaded a batch of 68 images, 1 failed, but only 53 turned up to submit.
-
Yup upload problems yesterday kept giving error messages on jpeg uploads.
-
Cant find topic for introducing, so hello, first time here, hope to learn something here and to pass knowledge to others :)
Now, back to subject, recently i found that when i upload image on shutter with keywords in one order, after i send them to review all keywords are messed up with order.
I found out that recently , maybe it is old thing but as i can emember, back in the days, keywords were as i make them in order prior to submission to review. What is the thing??? ???

Images that were appearing fine when first I edited them for submission this morning are now not showing in the review section of the home page, and one that appeared fine after uploading a few minutes ago will not appear on the edit page. I'm talking about the actual image file not showing, not that the submission has disappeared. Anyone else?

The issues I had with submitting uploaded images as well as the thumbnail display issues got resolved for me. Others may please check.

Uploading videos which don't show a preview when on the site. I keyword the video and submit. Then there no trace of footage submission pending.
-
same here.
-
too many images going into their servers :(
-
I have the same problems with the thumbs, but I hope the upload was successful. For some images I got the mail: ...Glitch--There was a technical problem with your upload. Please resubmit. -> Yesterday
-
Yep, still having issues today. Some jpg thumbnails don't show up, error message when submitting vectors.
-
thumbs broken after some time in "waiting for review" - should I resubmit - don t know??
-
If you look at the bug thread on shutterstock. You will find that this is a long standing bug that shutterstock never seems to be able to fix. The problem has literately been going on intermittently for years.
This is the case with many bugs, I gave up reporting them to support years ago because they just do not seem to care to fix them. The standard reply is denial that there is a problem or the oh so often we are aware of the problem and are working hard to address it.
These threads need to be put into one long thread so that people can see, just how long this has been occurring with no resolution.

No need to resubmit, just leave it there and it will show up in a day or two.
-
It appears now to be affecting everyone. Stuff uploads, you keyword then randomly in the review queue loses its thumbnail or goes back to "processing".
Smells of a database error to me.
I've stopped uploading for now just in case it means spending hours re-uploading the stuff that's broken.
So much for the "increased communication" too. Not even a simple status update acknowledging the issue unless you dig deeply into forum threads.

Hmmm… I think that you are speaking about iStock here…

Nope the problem has been occurring at shutterstock for many years, I could dig up untold examples. Here is just one from 2007. It looks like they deleted all Bugs / Glitches threads before 2007.

Hi All,
We experienced some network latency issues today. New uploads are currently working, but images uploaded earlier today may temporarily appear as broken thumbnails in your account. Please **do not** delete those images; they should populate correctly into your account within the next 12-24 hours.
Thank you for your patience and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience!
Best,

Thanks Scott...

Indeed, this problem has been happening intermittently for some time now. However, it seems to be increasing lately.
