Title: Uploads dissapearing in the mist?

Did some FTP uploads on SS last night, (localtime) and keyworded them etc..  after just under 24hrs they've not appeared in the 'pending photos' even though I got the email to say I'd uploaded them...

Weird.

Anyone else seeing that sorta thing currently?

Apologies to everyone. We are working on fixing this. We are in the process of adding a significant amount of new infrastructure -- you are seeing related hiccups while we get the new machines up and running and sharing the workload.

Please give us another 12 hours, and if the problems have not been resolved, continue to post here...

I uploaded  today using the http.....successfully, thanks for the info about the upgrades.

Just tried both ways. Did 1 file ftp - took a long time on a very fast connection and ended with error messages.

Tried 5 files http, took a long time and ended with page cannot be displayed.

Now there are 7 in the waiting to be submitted. 3 copies of 1, 2 of which don't display, 2 copies of another.

End result if I delete the bad ones and the dupes, I end up with the 5 I wanted.

As I begin trying to get rid of dupes, other dupes keep popping in there.

After hitting the submit button, it came back with more dupes, missing keywords, etc. Removed those, submitted and seemed to go.

Don't know if they will turn up in the waiting to be reviewed bin, but clearly there are still problems.

I was finally able to upload successfully today. There was a time lag before the images showed up for keywording - and then another time lag before the showed up in the 'waiting for review' section - but the images are there now. I uploaded 3 images using http.  :)

Mine showed in the waiting for review que also, but I think I'll wait before I try again. There are still clearly problems, and the admins have been quiet today both here and in SS forums.  Sales are still working, that's the important thing.
