Hi,

I am with 5 of the big 6 now, but SS is missing. When I register on SS I have to verify my ID. So I uploaded my (german) identity card AND my driving licence (I am from germany). But they rejected my ID with following reason:

"Please upload a passport which is valid for international travel.  We only accept international passports.  We do not accept national identity cards."

So my question is: what exactly do I need to verify my ID? I am not sure about this.

would be great if somebody  tells me what I should do. thank you a lot.
(and sorry for my bad english, I should improve it ;-) )

??? I have no passport and they picked me anyway. Ask SS support about what they accept If you doesn't have a passport, because it make no sense to me...

They did not accept my Bosnian ID card also (it is made by EU standard, an almost identical like german one...., text is on Bosnian and English), so I scaned my passport, and they aproved it.

watch out on noise.

Go to the critique forum there and read and read and read.  Yes, watch out for noise - that's a biggie.  Avoid flowers and nature.  Use your best "Stock" shots - not your best "Art" shots.  Use shots that are the most technically perfect you have.  Do NOT get offended if you are rejected!

But mainly, to get the best idea, go to the critique forum.  I recommend you post some there before submitting.  The photogs who really help there can be blunt, but they are usually spot on with their comments.

It should be clean and sharp, no noise, no black-and-white, vivid colors. No need for high resolution - their minimal accepted standard is ok (it could help with noise and sharpness if you reduce the size). No pictures too similar with each other.
