Video rejected for focus

(1/1)

MRommens:
Since a few month i upload also video to Shutterstock
My latest 4 videos were rejected for
Focus: Subject is not in focus or focus is too soft, inconsistent, or rack focus is not executed well.

If i played the video, the video looked sharp.
I don't understand what's wrong

What they mean with focus is too soft and rack focus is not executed well?
How can i in the future avoid focus rejections?
My images were the last few years never rejected for focus.

Without seeing the video nobody can judge focus or not.

Thats possibly because the last 3 years Shutterstock stopped applying ANY technical checks to images at all and just blindly started accepting everything.  The last 10 days or so they APPEAR to be reapplying rules which have already existed.
Reviewers do sometimes get it wrong though but again, without seeing the image at 100% its impossible for any neutral 3rd party to judge.

I remember i had some hard time and rejections last year when i tried to upload
a. Focus pulling between two subjects or just foreground / background
b. Clips with kind of fast motion that created motion blur.
c. Stabilized clips (again blurred in places)
d. Non razor sharp clips as long as i only had the manual focus option.
