I think it will be funny to see how many all time downloads we got at Shutterstock while we can see some others for the ones whit linked profiles... I'm just whit them since 4 or 5 months so I start whit a not too much impressive number. Hope we will see some huge all time totals!

Joined in August. 1647 DL's as of today. I might hit the $500 mark by the end of the month. If not, then definitely in early April.

I would like to begin this in 05 but like an idiot I was working in a photography store. All I was having to do it was to write "selling pictures" in google, but I was writing "sexy pictures" ehh "super pictures" sorry!
But anyway it's in this store that I learn a lot about photography. I was working whit forfeited photographers like they was naming themselves sometimes, cool guys who also was writing the wrong formula whit google. So it was a great deal at the start I guess.

Yep still on! I've covered a lot of ground this month - have spent time in Syria, Turkey, Bulgaria and am now in Athens! Just need to find time to get into that big backlog of photos that I still have to process and upload!
Have been thinking of macro sites more and more lately. I think my photography is starting to get a little better too. The only problem at the moment is really finding time to work out where to begin and how best to do it. Alamy has been on the to-do list for a while, but I don't really have the processing power on my laptop at the moment to get that rolling. Are there any that you contribute to?
I'm finding that all of the sites have been pretty choppy this year. There have been a few weeks that IS has been really good, but then it drops back down again. SS is the most consistent in that you can see the effect of uploads. To push the sales there, you just really need to consistently upload - a good batch will get the sales rolling again, but no uploads and they'll drop right back down again.
SS all time total is now 10155 :)

Mine is 26,032 for exactly 2 years and about 800 pics. But I have almost no people in my port, which I think explains my low number.

I started with 0 in march 2007, now have 364 images and 25,236 downloads

Hmmm.... these are very disappointing numbers Andres. If I assume that you got 30c per download, that's $100,000 approx. Nice number, but divided into 10,000 images it works out at only $10 per image. Given the quality of your work I would have expected you to make much more than $10 per image at SS.
It just goes to show that at SS its the volume of uploads that counts, not necessarily the quality of work. It seems to me that just like the rest of us, once the customers have scrambled to buy your latest uploads, your sales disappear.
You must be very disappointed with those numbers.

Not dissapointed at all. I didn't start with 10,000 from day one, you can't be seriously be making stats like that? so if I upload another 10,000 tomorrow you divide the whole thing by 20,000 ?

No, of course I know you didn't start with 10,000. My numbers are just fag packet calculations...... and would have been best divided by 2 to give an average of images over the period.
