Hi guys,
If someone of you recently submitted a photo of a bunch of red chrysanthemum flowers, please check the description of your image, because there is one image with red chrysanthemum flowers with a description: "bunch of yellow flowers, holiday background, congratulations!".

Well just a perfect example of spamming.
Did you get that SS survey yesterday? I listed allowing Keyword Spam ans the number one thing I hated about SS. They should at least take some steps to correct this as iStock is doing. Maybe not the extreme correction tactics, but at least enough to allow everyone to be on a level playing field. Then again, maybe a giant audit and some booting of the bad violators is what s needed.
In the end, would benefit the buyers as KW spam is a huge time waster.

I put spamming as my number one problem there as well, I even did it in ALL CAPS!! Maybe they will do something about it but I doubt it.

Maybe I'm missing something, but why wouldn't you just contact the person directly, since you obviously know who it is?

In SS username and artist name are different in every contributor. So I can't contact that person, because I can only see his/her artist name, and I can send him/her a message only if I know his/her username in forum. That's why I wrote it here. I wanted to show how sometimes reviewers don't pay attention on some basic things, and sometimes we get insane rejections for some other, totally stupid things. Also, I wanted to help this person to correct his description, because maybe someone will want those red flowers, and they will be listed maybe within yellow ones.

spamming like calling a new thread something like "please read this" instead of giving it a descriptive title? Now that's annoying.

Ok, sorry. I didn't mean to spam. Moderators can erase my post. I don't get anything from this, so I guess you understand that I didn't do this intentionally, to spam....

whitechild you can still go back to your first post and retitle the thread

It's worth remembering that deliberate spammers often add bad keywords post reviewing using the editing option. It isn't always the reviewers fault. Also, submitters who have a history of bad keywording are remembered and will have their keywords scrutinized in more detail than someone who keywords sensibly. Spamming is a big problem as it is a major dissatisfyer for buyers, perhaps IS's tough approach is a good way forward.

I retitled the thread
