Title: (Solved) Ability to upvote removed, account restricted??

I've noticed that I can no longer upvote posts, among other signs that my account may have been limited. Is this a restriction placed on me for any particular reason? Not that I care too much about such trivial things, other than clearly seeing other users can upvote and I cannot. Is there something I've posted that has caused someone with moderator control to be offended and limit my account? I have strong, but honest and clearly articulated opinions. I've not insulted anyone, to my knowledge, or engaged in needlessly offensive, inflammatory or frivolously argumentative behavior that seems to permeate with some users here.

Am I misinterpreting this new restriction? Is it perhaps just a bug, or maybe a change in the way the site operates, ie, not able to upvote with less than X amount of posts?

I find this forum somewhat useful for sharing information and opinions outside the oversight of the stock companies, aside from the obvious toxicity in some threads. Has this changed?

I would have reached out privately and directly, but support only seems to address advertising and sponsors. Thanks in advance for any insight.

Upvoting works strange on this site. You have to click on the + sign once, then wait for several seconds.

upvoting is buggy

click it, then wait, maybe click again, wait again or try a different browser

it seems to work better via my computer then via my tablet

True, except if you click and don't wait long enough and click again, that erases the + vote, so it looks like the vote isn't working, because it reverses the process.

Also true and it takes 8-20 seconds now. The whole forum has been SLOOOOO for months.

This is a traditional forum, not reddit. I had running SMF forum, didn't like it. I run myself 2 photography forums, but again these features are not really useful in traditional forums.

Thanks for the replies and insight, folks. No amount of clicking and waiting, or re-clicking seemed to work before. But it's suddenly working now. Click, 2-3 seconds, upvote appears. So maybe a bug or something. Crisis averted!
