There are a couple members who can't seem to ignore users.  They can click the 'ignore' button but the posts keep showing up.  other members aren't having problems.

Are you able to ignore another member and hide their posts or is it working for you?  If I can find a pattern to why it's working for some and not for others it will help a fair bit in figuring out a solution.

I guess the old ignore lists were zapped when the forum upgrade happened? I just ignored one post and saw the offending item disappear as expected - so I think it's working for me (Mac OSX 10.8.2 and Chrome 22.0.1229.94)

yeah, the old lists were zapped.  Thanks for the report.  Strange that it is working for some and not for others :S

A simple fix - glad I didn't mess with too much code

If the ignored users' posts are still showing up, make sure you have the setting check to hide posts.

Profile > Account Settings then Modify Profile > Look and Layout
then, make sure this is checked "-> Hide messages posted by members on my ignore list."
