It can be useful for someone but from the start it was very annoying to me that every time I visit a thread listed in 'Home', the page displays the very last post of the thread.
OK, I didn't read that thread, I want to read from the start. Is there an option to disable this behavior? If not, can be implemented?

Profile -> Look and Layout Preferences -> uncheck Show most recent posts at the top

Thanks Adelaide! :-) That's been bugging me, too.

Hmm...it didn't work. The placement still jumps to the very last post. I'd like to start from the beginning.

I'd like to be able to read from the beginning of the thread also. Is there a way to change the way this is set up Leaf?
-
If possible, I would like to read the thread from where I read it last. In other words, it should go to the post where I last read it and continue from there.
For example, if I never read the thread, then it should go to the first post.
But if I read the thread yesterday at 3:00 pm, then it should go the the next post after that time.

Ok, i think this is fixed now... feel free to post feedback
The way it is now, the link should lead to the first unread post. If you had not read a thread ever, it will go to the first post, if you have only 2 unread posts in a thread with 100 posts, it will jump to the 2 unread posts.
