I had 800 thumbnail size photos stolen and distributed by this group. They cruise forums looking for easy prey. Do not respond to their emails or queries. Do not give them facebook or flikr information.
I was accused of stealing someone's photo and they wanted a cash settlement. It was so ridiculous because I only do Computer Generated images.
One of these crooks even said a commonly available open source 3D model was his was demanding payment for CG images based on free modified Blender models.

Someone with a ShutterStock account, please post this information:
On CanadaFirst's LinkedIn profile, they list themselves as "Semi professional disinformation consultant", aka a liar. The avatar on his profile is actually also one of the alleged stolen images. Lists himself as owner of stockphoto4free.com.

Of course by doing so he's effectively confessed to the crime anyway. I think he'll find the rest of his portfolio will have disappeared too by close of play Monday.

He was banned from the forum at the same time I locked the thread. Now he has taken his ranting to the Shutterstock forum and included MSG on his hit list. ::) I can't imagine he'll last long their either, but I guess we'l see how Shutterstock handles it.
In regards to his accusations ... I don't really feel he is serious enough to respond to... but I'll oblige just the same.
Neither I, nor MSG as a website have sent him any emails, except his confirmation email when he signed up and any private message he received from members.
They steal personal information from accounts. Anybody who dares reveal this is immediately banned.
No, no 'personal information' was stolen or abused. I can see his email and IP address, but as with any member these are not shared with anyone. Yes, even delinquent member's information is kept confidential. It is true however that he was banned

It looks like he was in an email exchange with one of the members here (may or may not be true) from the original thread (http://www.microstockgroup.com/general-stock-discussion/how-i-went-from-$100-to-$5000-month/). His images did have elements (http://www.shutterstock.com/gallery-ugwoeii.html#id=57600112) taken from other's photos (http://www.shutterstock.com/gallery-ugwoeii.html#id=16204483) so I can't blame those members for being upset and taking him to task, which was why the Shutterstock thread was started in the first place.
... and no MSG did not steal 800 thumbnails, or try to steal any flickr, facebook, or twitter accounts ::)

This person is just trolling for page hits and links to his sites. Then he auctions the site with pumped up stats. What's funny was the so called auction of one site having free photos in the name, was supposedly completed, but the site doesn't exist. He has all hidden registrations and multiple sites, linked to each other or sourcing data from feeds. In other words, it's all a scam for page hits and links.
Also if a buyer takes a look and isn't a complete idiot, they will see that the site is not as active as the stat machines may think. In stocks it's called pump and dump. Like the people who sell penny stocks, go out and post hot tips all over the web, after they buy some. When it goes up because the suckers think it's a real boom and tip, they dump the stock and the people who got conned, own worthless paper.
Same with pumping up a website stats using sites to sites, controversial news feeds, youtube links "ScarletWhore" RedScarlet, Canadafirst and other names, and sites, to lead people to the sites destined to be sold. Whoknows how many of the keyholes are stolen images and how many of his Shutterstock images are borrowed.

Point is, even if he writes complete lies about this site. Including a ridiculous claim that someone would actually want to steal his thumbnails (which are what? CRAP!) He then has links, that will direct traffic to his sites, and for that reason alone, the bast way to deal with him is report to Shutterstock and ignore. :D
Any views are just helping him with his Spam Scam

I'm late coming in about this creep. just saw the other comments from redscarlet in the income thread. bizarre, not to mention the blatant theft. I would have thought that today it was easier to track someone's IP address down or something. hope not too many of you were affected.

yeah, what is with all the Charlie Sheen stuff? I did a little reading, in and out of detox, lives with a pornstar or two or three, smashed a hotel because a prostitute stole his money, seems not the sharpest tool in the shed, but I am still a bit lost at the rest of it.

How did that crap get accepted anywhere. I thought all the agencies had much tighter standards. His renders suck and those keyhole images are garbage (well, not the stolen parts).
