Title: Firefox v18
Post by: CD123 on November 28, 2012, 15:53
Just upgraded Firefox on my one PC to version 18.0 and it totally screw this site's layout up. Still have v10.0.2 on my other PC and the site still displays 100%. Anyone else experiencing same?

Also had no problems on 17. V18 seems to have the problem, but other sites displays OK, just MSG not?   :o

Geez. I've just finished doing a fresh install of Windows (decided to give 8 a try), and installed FF yesterday (17.0). And today's it's already to 18?

Does anyone else think this is getting a bit too ridiculous?

what state is Firefox 18 in?  Alpha, Beta?  I'm afraid I won't bother fixing errors for a browser that isn't out of beta yet.

It does not say on my "About Mozilla Firefox" that it is a Beta. It only shows 18.0 but is does indicate below the check for updates button that this PC is linked to the beta update channel. Seeing that my other PC is not and is stating that Firefox is up to date (on version 10.0.2), I will assume that this might still be in Beta.

PS Checked on the Update history, it is Beta 1.

Anyone else thinking Firefox are publishing too many new major versions?
I can't see anything radically new since version 8 or so... Why don't they call it Firefox 8.x.y instead of 18?

I am a great Firefox fan, but I must agree that they are going crazy these days with all the new releases, like something is chasing them.  ???

The number doesn't bother me.  It's still my favourite browser.

One advantage of them moving so fast. Beta 2 is out and the problem with MSG's type site is fixed. Still Firefox ftw  ;)
