I think this started today, but I only see posts from today on the home page. Before I would see a page-worth of links, including yesterday's threads in many cases. I really preferred that - I don't always get here every day and now I can't really see what I might have missed (beyond the few trending threads in the daily e-mail).
Is there some option I have inadvertently turned on that made the Yesterday and earlier posts vanish from the home page? If it was a deliberate site change, I'd like to comment that I really don't like it and would prefer the old home page back

Curious. I'm seeing yesterday's threads on my home page. I don't see an option to exclude them either.
-
Curious, indeed - as I'm seeing the same thing as Jo Ann - and don't like it, either :P

I'm only seeing today's posts as well....much prefer the old home page too.
-
I'm seeing about half the usual amount of topics, I think whether or not the bottom ones show as today or yesterday is down to your time zone setting.
-
I don't ever go to the home page. I have it bookmarked to the 'Show unread posts since last visit' that way I don't miss anything.
-
Yeah, there are a lot less threads showing on the front page. I'll try and fix it.

Ok, got it fixed.
For those who are interested: The sql search was grabbing the most recent 50 threads but limiting it to only include threads that were posted within the last 175 posts. There have been so many posts in the google/istock thread that most of the 175 posts were used up in that thread. So, the 175 post max was reached before the 50 recent threads was reached.

Thanks for fixing it - and for the explanation :)
-
Thanks - looks much better now

Lol! Something else to blame Getty for.
