Title: How to "just show me the thread"?

Currently when you click on a thread it takes you to the bottom of the thread. Very annoying when you haven't read any of the thread but there have been lots of posts. Is there a setting I can change so the default behavior would be to just show me the thread?

I completely agree that this is very annoying... at least for me.  I was beginning to think it was just me.  Bummer that there's no setting to change it.  :(

If you click on the thread title it takes you to the top of the thread, if you click on the arrow it takes you to the bottom.  ;)

where do you see an arrow?

Ok just realized that the main page is different, I always press 'show unread' so that it only shows the treads where I haven't read all the posts and it is a different format. Pressing the title takes you to top of page and pressing the little arrow icon on right takes you to the bottom.
