Hey,
I just wanted to suggest, maybe it would be great to have a mobile version of the forum site so that users can read it on PDAs, iPhones and the like. What do you think? (OK i don't want to make you work, it's just an idea).

yeah there is a bit of a mobile version already. The sidebars are gone when you view the site on a phone so there is more room for thread.

I tried to get here via mobile phone when I was stuck in the graveyard.
I just get "TinyPortal v1.0.5 beta 1 (c) Bloc"

Thats what I got on my blackberry too. But on my iphone I can see pretty much everything except the chat.

ok thanks for the info. I had just tested it on an iPhone.
interestingly though, 1.14% of the visits to the site are from an iphone / ipod. That seems pretty high

well i have a PDA with windows mobile. (ok don't kill me now...). it just loaded the normal page as far as i can judge it, but maybe i am mistaken...

The mobile version still takes forever to load. Don't know what causes the hangup.
-
right, very slow for me too - and too large for my PDA resolution. (it looked like a normal webpage)

This site works pretty good on my LG Voyager on the Bell network. My desktop still cant log onto the new server so Im glad I still have the mobile option.

iPhone here.
Works OK, but slow to load as mentioned before.
I do use it to access the site when I am at my day job.
I would rather not have the IT snoops know how often I am on here ;D

i must admit that the iphone is much better for surfing purposes than any tiny-screen-PDA or -blackberry...also because you can see the real webpage, and don't have to hope for a mobile version.
