Leaf and Kngkyle have both posted logo ideas at http://www.microstockgroup.com/index.php?topic=6862.30

While both are good, I am curious to see which one everyone thinks would suit microstockgroup.com better.  I hope I'm not stepping out of line by doing this.

Remember, it is ultimately up to Leaf what he uses as a logo!  This poll is for curiousity sakes.
(Plus this is the first poll I've done here and wanted to try one! ;D)

Leaf's Logos are Orange

edit: edited to add another logo

I like the blue colors more, but I think Kingkyle's logo has very small text that is difficult to read.

Adelaide

I actually prefer the orange and I like the gradient, but not crazy about the vertical text in the middle.

the size can be adjusted.  You see how large the orange logo looks on the top now.....
so don't take size into consideration.

yeah, thanks for starting the poll dragon fang I am interested too

and, if anyone else wants to get in the running feel free to submit a logo :)

quite frankly I don't like either in their current form.

Particularly I dislike vertical text in the orange one; small letters in the blue; too much text in the blue

It might help if the blue one was adjusted slightly.....

Upsize the text that states "micro stockgroup.com"

....  And skip the rest of the text. IMHO this will make this logo GREAT

Orange color is more aggressive, that's why I like it. Blue is more elegant, but it's not very eye catchy. But I don't like vertical text too much, and I like more the format of blue logo. I would replace "m" in orange logo with "" because "" means micro, and "m" means milli (1/1000)

yes but M stands for microstock ...

I made a new logo which i think i like better, and have added it to the pole

Those who don't like the small text on kngkyle's logo - make sure you click on it to view the larger version.

Hi Leaf,

I'm sorry to say this, but the current one is FAR better than the new one...     ;D

epantha's version is close and actually quite good  ;D

But I have to agree with whitechild about the orange color, and then I would really like to see the Kngkyle logo transformed into orange and with text upsized and without all the small unnessesary elements...   ::)

MsG reminds on Ms. G or MSG - food additive. I like the dragon_fang's one.

In any case, I will look for you at the convention leaf, to get one of these cards from you :)

The text size and orientation would of course need to be changed for the different uses. The version of mine posted was designed for a business card, might even been too small for that actually.  :-X

Hi Kngkyle,

Would it be too much troubble to change the background color to the "official" MSG orange?

I would prefer a green and yellow logo.   ;D

Here is my try with whitechild's idea.

The colors are nice, but the meaning will be lost for the vast majority of people who see it. It would be more appropriate for a science related web site perhaps. I fear poor Leaf would spend half his time explaining the logo rather than sharing information about what goes on here.  ;)

Right you are! I agree it probably would be a problem as many people don't know what that symbol means.  Anyways here is an orange version....
