Hi,

we have just launched our new contributor portal. Uploading problems are now a thing of the past. Please have a look at htt://contributor.panthermedia.net and info on the new system at http://www.panthermedia.net? (http://www.panthermedia.net?)contributor

Please also see a review about PantherMedia at microstockdiaries: http://www.microstockdiaries.com/panthermedia.html (http://www.microstockdiaries.com/panthermedia.html)

Best regards,

Robert

It used to be a solid agency. In 2008 I had a small portfolio of selected images there, in a good month they would have an RPI similar to the Big 4.

After they dropped the prices to microstock level and started to actively promote the site among international contributors my sales collapsed.

I don't send them anything now. 9 € commission for a merchandising licence is a joke.

For the couple hundred images I have uploaded to their site, the sales for me are equivalent for mid-tier players like bigstock, canstock and veer. It mostly seems to be subscription downloads though, which is the disappointing part. But if you get a regular sale its a nice chunk of change.

Unlike Robert, I am not quite sold yet that their uploading is any easier, unless you have batches of the same thing. In comparison to a site like Canstock/123RF there are still way to many form fields you need to mess with to get an image through the process.

Tried new portal. Just to many things to set for each photo. I hope that if I do editing in groups it can make reasonable defaults for things I am not touching.
