Title: Rank lists now have totals
Post by: leaf on March 12, 2010, 05:37
If you check out the rank lists for Dreamstime  (http://www.microstockgroup.com/?action=rank&site=DT)and iStock (http://www.microstockgroup.com/?action=rank&site=IS) you will now see the totals at the top of the list.

The totals are then, the total portfolio size of all members (those who have entered their portfolio info on their profile page (http://www.microstockgroup.com/profile/?sa=forumProfile)) and the total sales number.  The average DPI is then calculated by taking the total sales / total images.

Awww too late for the 400 000 file at Dreamstime... No ipod/iphone winner?

Very interesting though, more than 2 times sales at Istock with 2 times less files

I thought I was doing pretty good with a 3.8x DT port-to-sales ratio ... until I saw vphoto's!  ;D

haha yeah.  You just need to delete all your images and you can be just as good :)

3.8 DPI is a decent value.

This is not a complaint, and even though it says hidden, it's no secret. My DPI on DT is 24!  :o

337.    RacePhoto     24   1   24.0

ps when sorted I'm in 4th place...

Im slowly crawling over 1DPI. It was my first goal as a n00b. Thanks for the hard work, it's very interesting to compare my stats with other people.

Yes, slight flaw in my case, where I removed everything except one photo. Darn quitters ruin the whole thing. It shows all downloads for that one image, which isn't true.

The -1 beats me by some infinite number?

Just wondering where Yuri is though?

Just wondering where Yuri is though?

It doesn't include people who don't have a link to their portfolio here. I had my link hidden, but when I checked this chart the link was live. I removed the link just now and I don't appear at all on the chart now (not even as hidden)

the link was only live for you.  There should also have been the text (hidden) beside your name showing you that it wasn't shown to other members.  If you look at the list you will see a few members have their links hidden, yet they are still shown to themselves when they view the list.
