It seems that the Microstock poll to the right should be separated by content type. For example, Pond5 would be in the top tier if we were talking about  Video, correct? And there may be some top Vector sites that don't even show up on the list since the rating results are probably heavily weighted with photo producers. Just a thought.

that's actually a good point, as Pond5 shouldn't probably be in the top 6 for us photographers?

but ah, a bit of work and how to lay it out nicely?

it would be nice but it's not as easy as it sounds.  Where does Shutterstock fit in when they sell vectors, illustration and video.  How many of us separate our income into the three media types for Shutterstock?  iStock and many others all sell the three types as well.  Some sites only sell vectors and photos.

the poll would look very differently if it was illustration based as well but.  Perhaps one work around could be a simple question if people have primarily vectors, video or audio .. that way we would see at least a little different sort for the purely vector artists.

I like your workaround solution. Perhaps there could be a link on the right for a "Breakout Poll" that went to a page that showed the breakout results by primary content by contributor. Then, the poll results as it is on the front page wouldn't have to change. As it is, the poll results are fairly useless to primary video and illustrator contributors, and slightly off for photo folks. You needed something else to do right Leaf? ;)

So true.

If I had used my time wisely before I had kids, Yuri Arcurs would be working for me.
