yeah, i agree that it looks cluttered.

but how about now?

I have done away with the left side boxes all together to try and free up some screen real estate...

I find it great that way. If the micros poll results was up and the premium chat and Istock lightbox down it would be better I think. My tought

Is there a way in the new forum to see all new messages from different categories in one common list, as was shown by default in the old version?

yeah, just click the 'home' button or the 'microstock group...' thing at the top... I should change the default page people are brought to when they log in.  It confused me to!

Better. Can you somehow reducing spacing below "main menu" and below oval frame?

I think the vertical screen real estate is a bit stretched: on 21" at 1680 x 1050 res the top 1/3rd of the site is 'non active' content such as the logo, main menu, inch-high white space etc.      Since people are here 99.8% of the time to check the message area IMO you gotta squish it all up as high as possible to keep the eye and scrolling activity down..

I'm not sure about the font.
Not that comfortable with it.

I suppose it takes the eyes a little time to adjust.

me too actually.  It does seem cripser, but it also seems a bit squished together.  perhaps i have just been looking at the computer too long :(

I thought I had entered the wrong site.  ;D

I like the new look, just need to get used to it.  But where is the chat area?

Regards,
Adelaide

It does look good.

A complaint/change request is that the tab with the Home/Forum etc. buttons is now way up and to the left of where the forum posts get displayed. What I've always done after reading a post is click the Home button to get a refreshed list of what's been posted. That's now much farther away than it was.

ok... i added a home button for you!.. if you found it :)  Hopefully that lets us scroll a few less kilometers in a day

In the Forum page, I would like smalle fonts and icons, so navigation is faster/easier.

Also the chat area ould appear at the top, as it is (might be) updated during a session.  I don't check the poll results everyday.

Adelaide

made even better now.  That home button goes to the top of the recent threads now, and not the top of the main page.
