Since a few days now I have issues with MSG. Pages loading takes about 10-15 seconds. My connections seems to be fine. Other sites work fine. MSG used to be fine. Is anyone else having this? Is there something with the site?

mine is loading normal but i'd be interested to hear if others are having problems.

I just did a few more speed improvements today so if the site wasn't fast already.. it should be now.

I put all the images (our avatars, icons, ads, layout etc.etc.) on amazon cloudfront so they will be delivered by a server close to you instead of where the site is originally hosted.

No problems here 

I still have issues, but I guess its down to me then. I didnt change anything on my laptop, but over the weekend loading threads became slow. No idea what it can be. Maybe I need to clear out my cache

is it still taking 10-15 seconds to load then?
It should only take a few seconds to load.... and like your computer - passes the speed test.

If I go to replies to my posts, and then click on the button for the latest reply it takes 10 seconds to load the thread. If I post a reply, it takes 10 seconds after I hit the post button.

Some parts of the site are not affected, it seems to be thread related.

That sounds like a slow database problem but I don't know why it would affect only you?!

It seems that clearing the cache and cleaning the temp files has increased the speed. Still some areas where its slow. Anyhoo, its not site related is my best guess.

When I hit the reply button the message on the status bar says waiting for microstockgroup.com. Takes about 5 seconds. Then when I want to post the reply, also takes 10 seconds. The rest seems fine.

Seems fine now. I guess clearing my cache and deleting 6GB of temp files fixed it.
