With the review times they  have now, if they introduced ftp, it would probably be well into the next millennium before they could empty the queue. The upload system they have wouldn't be so bad if it didn't time-out all the time.

The "five-at-a-time" and then "better hurry or it'll time out and you'll have to re-send the files" editing does tend to get a bit onerous.  I did persevere and uploaded 150+ photos last night.  Where's that smiley for "gone cross-eyed?"

FTP would certainly make it easier.  Faster review time would make it even more easy.  If I had to choose between FTP and quicker reviews, I'd take the quicker reviews.

The inactivity timeout time on the site is rediculous. There have been times I had to reupload the 5 images 3 times because I didn't press the process button in time ... >:(

If I stop uploading there it will be because several times I uploaded few images, and they disappeared because site wanted me to login again after upload. It's really...and I mean REALLY annoying.
I don't have 1 image per day to upload, but much more. I don't sit in the front of computer to wait for images to be uploaded.  I simply can't believe it isn't solved before Snapvillage came out of beta version

I simply doesn't understand why this stupid setting cannot be changed, it's a parameter and raising it's value should need 10sec. I contacted support every time I had a time out, the first letter was sent about 4 months ago, this shows they really doesn't care.  :(

I simply don't understand why the site exists full-stop never mind the fact that I've seen grass grow faster than their uploads.

Look at their latest blog about the polar bear swim. Everybody knows you can't code FTP with shrunken walnuts.
