I see they have improved their watermark. :)
All we need now is FTP and a few sales.

By sheer coincidence, I have just been reading this on the SS forums:
"I just wanted to let you know that Corbis are giving all their photos away for free, if you sign up. When I say free, I mean web size photos.
I visited a web design firm today in Delhi, India and was asking what companies they use for getting photos. When they mentioned Corbis, I thought how could an Indian design firm afford Corbis photos. Then he just showed me how he logged in and could access all web size images for free. I was horrified!!"

I just looked at downloading a small image and it wasn't free. Perhaps they were taking the photos with the watermark and cropping them?

I've just posted this on the SV blog:
"Unfortunately when I view my portfolio, the watermark doesn’t appear on the small size images. These images can still be stolen. Although the right click ’save as’ has been disabled, all I have to do is ‘mail this image’ and hey presto.
I’m afraid I shan’t be uploading any pictures to Snapvillage other than my initial ‘test’ images which will now be deleted.
It seems that Snapvillage simply doesn’t understand the need for security - I have invested a considerable amount of time, money and effort in creating my images, and I am not going to trust them to an organisation that doesn’t understand the need to protect them."

Other sites don't have watermarks on the thumbnails. SV's are slightly larger but still only 195x129 pixels.
I am not concerned about this. Perhaps they could make them slightly smaller but watermarks on the thumbnails makes them harder to see.

You are of course correct sharpshot. I hadn't noticed that before. Yes, perhaps it's just because SV's are larger that I noticed it.
