I earned $14 in October, then almost nothing in 2 months so I was surprised when I received notification about transfer to PayPal. I did not request money so why now, why not in November?

Their accounting department seems to be a division of their marketing department, and since the staff of the latter has been on vacation for the last six months, they are a bit slow   ;)

http://snapvillage.com/FAQ.aspx#When%20will%20I%20be%20paid?

When will I be paid?
Once you make $10 in royalties, you will be paid forty five days following the calendar month in which the amount licensed exceeds $10. For example, if your royalty balance is $250 at 06/30/2007, you will receive the full $250 on  08/15/07. If you make royalties in July this will accumulate and go towards your next payment.  If your balance never exceeds $10, you will receive your royalties forty five (45) days following the end of the calendar year.

So if reached by the end of October >= $10, then you get payed ~ Dec. 15th.

I haven't seen any sales from Snapvillage for months after making around $30. Have you made recent sales? At what price per photo?

I had increasing sales there until 2-3 months ago, with sales up to $50, but then, it suddenly stopped, totally. Zero, zero, zero, zero. Canstockphoto outsells them with a zillion percent   :-\

I was making around $10 a month there untill a few months ago but that has slowed down and I have just about stopped uploading.  Can't believe that corbis haven't tried to make a bigger impact on the microstock market.  Hopefully in 2009 they will wake up and realize their mistake.

I concur.  Sales were building monthly until about October, and then suddenly stopped.  Not just slowed down, but stopped completely.  My last sale was either late September or early October.

According to Compete.com their unique visitor traffic is down 56% year over year.

This surge in sales coincided with the outing of its former CEO and his subesequent replacement. But like everything else about MS, consistency is a distant dream for this new pretender.
